Promotion: Spring Road Trip Giveaway Promoter Gasoline Alley Services Limited (g.a.s.) 

Promotion period: The Promotion opened at 11:00am NZST on 31 August 2026 and closes at 11:59am NZST on 30 September 2026. 

Prize: One winner will receive one g.a.s. Gift Card loaded with NZD $500. Draw One winner will be selected by random draw at 12:00pm NZST on 30 September 2026 from all eligible entries received before the Promotion closes.

How to Enter 

To enter the Promotion, participants must complete both of the following during the Promotion Period: 

Comment on the Spring Road Trip Giveaway Facebook post using a spring-themed emoji. 

Subscribe to the g.a.s. mailing list before the Promotion closes and remain subscribed at the time of the draw. 

Only one entry per person will be accepted. Multiple comments will not create additional entries. 

Prize Conditions 

The g.a.s. Gift Card: 

• is valid for three years from the date of issue; 
• may be used at participating g.a.s. locations; 
• is not redeemable for cash; 
• is not transferable; and 
• cannot be exchanged for any alternative prize. 

Winner Notification 

The winner will be contacted by direct message from the official g.a.s. Facebook page and/or by email using the details associated with the winner’s mailing-list subscription. g.a.s. will never request credit card or banking information to award this prize. 

If the winner does not respond within seven days, declines the prize, cannot be verified as eligible, or has not completed both entry requirements, g.a.s. may conduct a redraw and award the prize to another eligible entrant.

Standard Social Media Competition Terms & Conditions 

These Standard Terms and Conditions apply to competitions, giveaways and promotions conducted by Gasoline Alley Services Limited (g.a.s.) through Facebook, Instagram, Meta or other social media platforms, unless otherwise stated in the current promotion details. By entering, participants agree to these Standard Terms and Conditions and the promotion-specific terms displayed above. 

Eligibility 

• Entry is open to New Zealand residents aged 18 years and over unless otherwise specified in the promotion details. 
• Employees of g.a.s., participating Retailers, employees of participating Retailers, promotional partners involved in administering the promotion, and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter. 

Promotion-Specific Rules 

• Each promotion may have its own entry requirements, promotion period, prize details, draw method, draw date and winner-notification process. 
• If there is any inconsistency between the current promotion details and these Standard Terms and Conditions, the current promotion details will take precedence. 

Entries and Verification 

• Entrants must comply with all entry requirements stated in the promotional post and the current promotion details on this website. 
• Entries that are incomplete, fraudulent, offensive, misleading, automated, submitted using false information, or otherwise fail to meet the stated requirements may be disqualified. 
• g.a.s. may verify the validity of an entry and the eligibility and identity of an entrant before awarding a prize. 

Winner Selection 

• Unless otherwise stated in the current promotion details, winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries. 
• The decision of g.a.s. on all matters relating to a promotion is final, subject to applicable law. 

Prize Conditions 

• Unless otherwise stated, prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash. 
• If a prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the reasonable control of g.a.s., g.a.s. may substitute a prize of equal or greater value. 
• The winner is responsible for any cost associated with claiming or using a prize that is not expressly stated as being included. 

Privacy and Marketing Communications 

• Personal information collected in connection with a promotion will be managed in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and the g.a.s. Privacy Policy. 
• Personal information may be used to administer the promotion, verify eligibility, contact winners and fulfil prizes.

• Where subscription to the g.a.s. mailing list is an entry requirement, entrants consent to receiving marketing communications from g.a.s. Entrants may unsubscribe at any time, although unsubscribing before the draw may make an entrant ineligible where remaining subscribed at the time of the draw is a stated entry requirement. 

Publicity 

• Subject to the entrant’s consent and applicable law, g.a.s. may request permission to use a winner’s first name, image, likeness or competition-related content for reasonable promotional purposes. Refusal to provide publicity consent will not, by itself, invalidate an otherwise eligible entry unless the current promotion details expressly state otherwise. 

Technical Issues and Circumstances Beyond Control 

• g.a.s. is not responsible for entries that are late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted or not received because of technical or communication failures outside the reasonable control of g.a.s. 
• If circumstances beyond the reasonable control of g.a.s. prevent the fair or safe conduct of a promotion, including technical failure, fraud, security breach, natural disaster or a legal or regulatory requirement, g.a.s. may suspend, cancel or terminate the promotion to the extent reasonably necessary. 

Liability 

• To the fullest extent permitted by law, g.a.s. will not be liable for loss, damage or injury arising from entry into a promotion or acceptance or use of a prize, except for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits any rights or remedies available under applicable New Zealand law. 



Social Media Disclaimer 

• Promotions conducted by g.a.s. are not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook, Instagram or Meta, unless expressly stated otherwise. 
• By entering, participants release Facebook, Instagram and Meta from liability associated with the promotion to the extent permitted by law.

Governing Law and Contact 

• These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
