Located on State Highway 2 from Auckland to the Coromandel
Maramarua is located on State Highway 2, just past the Pokeno turn-off and now officially has its first GAS station.
It took six weeks to transform the run-down and aged Waitomo petrol station into a ‘Model GAS site and a prime example of a rural station in our network’ says Jayneil Mistry, GAS’ Capital & Refurbishments Project Manager. The location is a prime spot for a GAS site as it is situated along the ‘dry’ strip of State Highway 2 from Auckland to the Coromandel. Great news for the Summer season.
GAS Maramarua is now freshly renovated and open for business with a new interior and exterior refurbishment. Along with fresh flooring and lighting, it also features new heated and ambient food display cabinets, new fridges, new bathrooms, barista coffee machine installation, of course, new pumps and a MID board were also added. It is safe to say that GAS Maramarua is open and looking good!
