How does AA Smartfuel work:
At GAS you can choose to accumulate your AA Smartfuel discounts, or redeem them immediately. Just simply swipe your AA Smartfuel or AA Membership card at any participating GAS Petrol Service Stations when you meet the qualifying spend on petrol or diesel and save 6 cents per litre off fuel every day, every time!
How to start collecting your savings:
1. Get a new AA Smartfuel card from you local GAS Petrol Service Station or Countdown.

3. Fuel up at your nearest participating GAS Petrol Service Station. Swipe AA Smartfuel or AA Membership card to collect your cent per litre discount.
Redeem your supermarket vouchers at GAS:
Keep the receipt every time you shop at Countdown, FreshChoice or SuperValue, check at the bottom of the receipt for potential savings. Bring it with you to any participating GAS Petrol Service Station to turn your grocery shopping into fuel savings!

To maximise your savings, it pays to fill up as close to 50 litres as you can because your account balance will return to zero after each redemption. Once accumulated, discounts must be redeemed by the end of the following calendar month, e.g. a fuel discount dated 1 through 31 August 2019 will expire on 30 September 2019. GAS’ everyday fuel offer requires a minimum spend of $40 or more on petrol or diesel. AA Membership and AA Smartfuel cards cannot be used in conjunction with any other fuel discount promotions including Countdown, Fresh Choice or SuperValue supermarket discount fuel vouchers, BP Fuelcard, or any other fuel card transactions. AA Smartfuel discounts are redeemable up to a maximum of 50 litres of any one fuel purchase at participating GAS Service Stations (excludes unmanned self-service stations and fuel purchases using the GAS UP app). AA Smartfuel cards must be registered before discounts can be redeemed (AA Members are already registered for AA Smartfuel). Discounts expire at the end of the calendar month following the month in which awarded.
